The Micro-Stedi series is the smallest diameter iron offered by Hexacon. Micro-Stedi irons and stations use a ceramic, thermal-compensating element that increases iron output as the loading rate increases. This element design results in faster soldering speeds and improved production performance. The Micro-Stedi provides heavyweight performance in featherweight package. The MS-10 iron weighs less than 0.7 ounces. SMD-10 iron uses the Micro-Stedi element style but uses smaller custom tips (Z780X series) to facilitate access into tightly spaced circuitry. Soldering capacity ranges from delicate microcircuits to small terminals. ESD Safe. Economical in cost, rugged and easy to maintain. Micro-Stedi products use sleeve style tips (HT880X series). MS-10 is compatible with HD-892MS holder. Micro-Stedi irons are available in 115 volts models only.
