The case is machined from a solid piece of high strength hexagonal carbon steel and provides the ultimate protection for the precision wound oxidation resistant element assembly. The front nut assembly is designed to absorb the impact and shock of normal on the soldering tip, prolonging the element life. The unique heat deflector disks allow for a shorter reach, while providing the operator a cool, comfortable balanced handle. Available in tip diameters of 3/8, ½, 5/8, 7/8 and 1-1/8 with wattages ranging from 100 to 550 watts. Irons up to 300 watts are available in the ergonomic friendly hatchet style. Irons provided with a HD-S12 cradle style holder. Upgrade iron holder to HD-899-250. Irons are available in both 115 or 230 volt models.
