The Phenix is a variable power, fixed temperature soldering iron that combines the best features of a soldering station into the package of a steady output iron at an economical price. There are two power levels for the Phenix iron: the 25-watt Classic (PHC) and the 40-watt Ultra (PHU). The customer selects the idle temperature (available in 600?F, 700?F and 800?F models) and the Phenix circuitry, factory pre-set, varies the power level to hold the selected tip temperature steady even under load. Field tests of Phenix irons have outperformed competitors™ irons twice their rated power level. ESD Safe. The Phenix uses the Hexacon CT style tip: CT200 series tips for the Classic (PHC) and CT300 series tips for the Ultra (PHU). Available only in 115 volt models. Uses HD-PHX holder. Can be upgraded to HD-PHPX powered holder.
